Sacroiliac dysfunction secondary to chronic degeneration, history of multilevel lumbar fusion1

Patient History:
  • Complained of severe right-sided pelvic girdle pain
  • Bracing, medications, PT and RF ablation did not help
  • Multiple failed fusion procedures elsewhere including spinal cord stimulation placement
  • Classic physical exam findings suggested SI joint  dysfunction
  • Diagnostic SI joint injections were “life changing” for 24 hours
